carrots & kene





we grew carrots.
they are so lovely and beautiful.
tasty.
also lately,
I have been spending time with some
Kene cloth from the ladies of Peru...
Is intricate patterns of hand-stitched fabric
entwining stories of ancestors, spirit & plants...
they sing....truly...
beautiful work from the hands of the amazon...

  6. I really love growing vegetables, we had an experiment with carrots before and it did not quite work out. The carrots shown here are great. They just did not grow very large, and we needed more space. We substituted with green beans and chives. South American style is always really colorful.
